10 Feb 2004 - Emma College Gig : Details

The charity gig at Emmanual on 8th Feb was a huge sucess, raising several hundred pounds for “children of the andes”. Many thanks to all who made is possible.

2 Feb 2004 - Emma College Gig : Details

On Sunday 8th February we will be playing at a special evening of live jazz music in Emmanuel College. The evening kicks off at 7:30pm in the “Queen’s Building”. Selwyn Jazz is playing the second half of the event. Tickets available on the door.

10 Nov 2003 - Selwyn College Gig - cancelled

Due to venue problems the advertised gig at Selwyn College will not be taking place. We hope to rearrange for another date later in term or next term, check the front page for details soon.

21 Oct 2003 - Audition Results

If your audition was sucessful then you should now have already heard from us by email. To all others, do not give up on us yet! We keep a list of reserve players and may be in touch during the year if vacancies become available.

We will be holding auditions for brass, baritone sax and rythm section players in October. Please come to the CUSU Fresher's Fair to apply for an audition or email membership@selwynjazz.com Please include details of any relevant playing experience in jazz groups.

30 June 2003 - End of term!

The end of another year for Selwyn Jazz. A very sucessful may week rounded off a good year for the band and marked the last gig of Matt Gold as band leader. Simon White now takes over the band for the 2003/04 academic year.
